The university of Salamanca in its eighth centenary, organized with Startup Europe European Commission the third edition ofAn Startup, which took place in the inn Fonseca city on salamanca 26 and 27 april 2017 .

Startup startups connects to An innovative smes and technological/digital, investors, corporations aceleradoras, universities, public administrations and the media throughout europe.

The main objectives of the event are to promote entrepreneurship and business culture among university students, youth and unemployed, as well as to give visibility to startups and persons who have an innovative idea, from all over europe and connect them with investors, institutions and corporations, thereby creating a high number of business, synergies, and investment and helping, therefore, to the generation of jobs.

This edition was attended by more than 250 european startups, 60 international corporations and over 200 aceleradoras, media and other partners, including thePublic employment service Estatal (SEPE).

The event was attended by a full programme of round tables, investment opportunities, financing and networking, in addition to the participation of the european network of aceleradoras Accelerator Assembly and the european network of universities Startup Europe University Network, both coordinated since Startup Europe European commission.

The booth of the SEPE was treated permanently by Provincial directorate Salamanca under the supervision of its Provincial Director, Carlos García That Still Maintain Their Original Language and informed visitors mainly on the measures of support for the undertaking, as those targeted to young entrepreneurs, the single payment of the contributory unemployment benefit andThe sole Portal “ Empléate employment ”.

During the event was delivered to the SEPE best Public Administration 2017 .
