Maintaining employment older workers

  • Reduction of 100 % of the company quota for common contingencies, except temporary incapacity. If the worker does not have the necessary seniority at the age, the exemption applies from compliance with the requirement.


Duration: Indefinite.

Selective use

Trabajadores que hubieran cesado en la empresa por habérseles reconocido una incapacidad permanente total o absoluta y después de haber recibido prestaciones de recuperación profesional hubieran recobrado su plena capacidad laboral o continúen afectados por una incapacidad parcial y se reincorporen a la empresa

  • Reduction of 50 percent of employer contributions to Social security for common contingencies.


Duration: 2 years.

Extension of the period of fixed activity discontínuos (months in February, March and November)

Fixed contract workers staggered operate within the fields of tourism, as well as trade and hotels, provided that they are linked to the tourism sector and that generate productive activity in the months of February, March and November each year.

  • Bonus of 50 percent of employer contributions to Social security for common contingencies. (Exclusively the months of February, March and November)

Extension of the period of fixed activity discontínuos (months from April to October)

Fixed contract workers staggered operate within the fields of tourism, as well as trade and hotels, provided that they are linked to the tourism sector and that generate productive activity in the months of April to October 2021 .

  • Bonus of 50 percent of employer contributions to Social security for common contingencies. (Exclusively the months from April to October 2021 )

Change of job or different role

Workers who by reason of risk during pregnancy or risk during breastfeeding (art. 26 the law 31 / 1995 ), as well as by reason of occupational disease are designed to a post or function compatible with their status.
