The Observatory of occupations in the public employment service, organically attached to an area of SGEI central services of the SEPE, consists of a network that extends throughout the national territory, whose central structure directs, organizes, plans and adjust the work of the experts and specialists in labour market 52 Provincial Directorates of the SEPE.

Make reports and analyses of labour market, using qualitative and quantitative techniques in different geographic locations (state, autonomous community, provincial and municipal), with constant updating of the social indicators.

The network of the observatory for occupations in the SEPE, in its exploration and identification of training needs, reports of the changes in economic activities and occupations to anticipate and respond to challenges and requirements that the labour market demand. This network is organized into groups to complement consiguiéndo an interrelationship between methodologies and processed products.
