Transition from unemployment benefit to the minimum living income benefit
If you exhaust the maximum period of receipt of the unemployment benefit, the extraordinary unemployment benefit or the Active Income of Insertion without having found a job, if in your family unitThe State Public Employment Service (SEPE) is no longer receiving the minimum vital income (IMV), so it can facilitate the transition to this economic aid. On the expected date of exhaustion of the unemployment benefit you must meet the following conditions:
• That you are older than 23 years.
• If your subsidy is without family responsibilities, that you do not have a spouse or domestic partner, nor do you live with any other person. There should not be anyone else registered in your own home.
• If your subsidy is with family responsibilities, you live in the same home exclusively with those people who have been taken into account for the recognition and maintenance of your subsidy, without there being other people registered in that home.
WARNING: All references to the SEPE should be understood to mean the ISM for those persons belonging to the Special Regime of Seafarers who are receiving a subsidy recognized by the Social Institute of the Navy.

1 . During the quarter prior to the expiration of the unemployment benefit, the SEPE will send you one information letteron the possibility of making the transition to the IMV through this procedure.
2 . If you are interested in the transition from the SEPE to the IMV, you must request appointmentto go to your benefits office, in any caseprior to the date of expiration of the subsidyfor unemployment. 3 . In case of having family responsibilities:

4 . If you have given your consent and have correctly completed the responsible declaration, after the expected date of the exhaustion of the unemployment benefit, the SEPE will validate that it has actually been exhausted on that date and will send the IMV management entity the information necessary for the processing of this aid. From that moment you must contact the managing body of the IMV to obtain information or to be interested in the status of the processing of your file.
In the event that SEPE verifies that on that date your subsidy has not been exhausted, the transition will not be possible and the information will not be sent to the managing entity of the IMV.
5 . The managing body of the IMV, once the information indicated above has been received, will carry out the checks of the necessary requirements and issue a ruling within a maximum period of six months from the exhaustion of the right to unemployment benefit. If this period elapses without an express resolution, it shall be deemed to have been rejected.
